| Facility Entry | Ohio Street Beach is located at 600 N. Lake Shore Drive (at Ohio Street and Lake Michigan) in the Streeterville neighborhood adjacent to Jane Addams Memorial Park. The Lakefront Trail winds its way past this beach which faces directly north. This beach offers amenities that include food concessions and chair rentals. An ADA accessible beach walk is available. There is limited street parking nearby west of Lake Shore Drive. There is distance swimming parallel to the shoreline, just north of where the beach is situated, to the red buoy (a minimum of 20 yards west of the buoy markers). |

Illinois St. Turn left at N. Streeter Dr. From the South: Take Lake Shore Drive (US 41) and get off at the Illinois St. exit heading toward Grand Ave. Merge onto N. Streeter Dr. From Northside on the Kennedy Expressway (I94E/I90E): From the Kennedy Expressway (I94E/I90E), take Exit 50B to merge on W. Ohio St toward 600N. Turn right on N. McClurg Ct. Turn left on E. Illinois St. Turn left at N. Streeter Dr. From the Southside on the Dan Ryan Expressway (I94W/I90W): From the Dan Ryan Expressway (I94W/I90E), take exit 53C on the left to merge onto I-55 N. toward Lake Shore Dr. Take the Lake Shore Dr./US-41 exit. Merge onto US-41 N. Take the Illinois St. exit toward Grand Ave. Merge onto N. Streeter Dr. |
