A trial workout is a free, live test of our swimming program. You'll swim the practice with our existing members, so make sure you bring your suit, goggles and towel. We want you to see what we're all about, and the best way to do that is to dive in!

When you come to your trial workout, we'll have you do a short set to get you into the right lane and to give you some feedback about your stroke that you'll use in our practices such as your pace, your stroke count, and your stroke rate. We'll use the time to walk you through some administrative details of joining the team, payment plans, billing, insurance, session and practice schedule, social calendar, meets and competitions, stroke improvement lessons and clinics, and other team-related details. We also want to get to know you a little bit better and help you figure out how CBD can help you meet your personal, fitness, and social goals.

The following table lists the Trial Workout dates in the next two months. When you submit your Trial Workout request, please include the date and the location so we can get you to the right location, at the right time, and with the right gear.

If you fall into one of our slower pacing groups, we'll direct you to one of our swimming technique clinics at our Swim Studio. The clinic will give you access to a smaller learning group environment to help you learn the skills, drills, and exercises that we use in our swim practices. We build the strokes in a particular way, use a standard set of drills and run our practices in a particular style. Consider the lessons your introduction to how we do things around here.
